Explain why and when you want to pause

Tell LIVIA the reason and intended period, whether for repairs, personal use or a possible sale. Specify whether you want to stop new bookings temporarily or discuss ending the agreement. These are different requests, and distinguishing them makes the next steps easier to identify.

Check existing bookings before blocking dates

Stopping new bookings does not automatically remove existing reservations or residents’ contracts. Review affected stays, preparation work and owner-use plans. If repairs are involved, also explain how the problem affects safety and the ability to use the property. Check the requested pause date separately from when new bookings actually stopped, so reservations made while the request was being handled are not overlooked.

Use the owner-stay request for personal use

For a visit home, request available dates through owner use in the portal. Securing dates still requires the relevant use conditions, fees and key arrangements to be checked. Include full three-day preparation buffers on each side and do not enter across an existing reservation.

Check the actual agreement’s ending conditions

For a proposed end of the agreement, check notice methods, advance notice and remaining obligations under the signed terms and applicable rules. This public article does not set one universal end date or fee for every contract. Seek professional advice where the situation requires it.

Settle the remaining work, amounts and items

Review keys, loaned equipment, furniture, outstanding work, receivables, payables and deposits with LIVIA. A withdrawn listing does not prove all costs are settled. Use photographs and records to establish which party will receive or handle each remaining item.

Update information and access after handover

After the agreed ending or transfer is completed, review public information, contact points, key storage and account access. Retain necessary records under the contract, retention policy and applicable rules. Do not change locks or delete records independently while residents or contractual obligations remain.
